Oily boards are unforgiving of the wrong finish.
Oil- and resin-rich species reject the wrong coating, bond at the edges, or discolour months after handover. The Synteko systems are built to sit on them without those failures, and Synteko Sealer exists specifically to control it.
- Edge-bonding: Classic coats new timber floors without the edge bonding or rejection commonly experienced with oily timbers.
- Grain raise and discolouration: Sealer is a fast-drying, NMP-free sealer that seals the wood with very low grain raise and reduces the risk of discolouration and side bonding.
